Dragon of Complete Communication
Chagdud Tulku Rimpoche painted this sky dragon for his students at Horizon Screen Print in 1988.
At that time he offered the following commentary:
Dragons symbolize enlightened speech, the sound of compassion that awakens us from delusion, and increases what we can know through hearing. Dragons have the power of complete communication. In a worldly way dragons, even the picture of a dragon, protects us from slander and enhances our reputations. Just as we do not see sound, we do not see dragons…at least not all the time.
